Fern Loretta Harman

Fern Loretta Harman was born on August 10, 1925. She attended school and graduated from Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri.

Fern was united in marriage to James Reed Graves, they were married 25 years. James preceded her in death. She then married Bernard Harman. They were happily married 24 years. Bernard preceded her in death. Fern passed away January 2, 2008 at West Paris, Maine at the age of 82 years.
Fern worked as a waitress through the years, but enjoyed being a mother and housewife. She was a member of the Catholic Church in Imogene, Iowa.

Fern is preceded in death by her husbands, and her parents, Louis and Addie Davenport; sister Alice Slemp and Brother Kenneth Davenport. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Elsman; three grandchildren, Kerry Thomas and his wife, Robin, Mindy Walker and her husband, William, and Clint Thomas and his wife, Holli; four grandchildren, Will and Ben Walker and Hannah and Carter Thomas and three step-grandchildren, Samantha, Kayle and Brianna.

Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment: 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Home Cemetery, Tarkio, Missouri. There is no visitation.
