Teresa A. Morrison
Teresa Ann (Moyer) Morrison was born on March, 31, 1962 in Hamburg, Iowa to Jack and Sandra Moyer. She attended Hamburg High School in Hamburg, Iowa. While attending high school, Teresa was active in track, chorus and speech. In February of 1980, Teresa married Larry L. Morrison and they moved to Watson, Missouri to make their home.
Until her untimely death, Teresa was self-employed as a groundskeeper at The Medical Clinic on Whiteman AFB, Knob Noster, Missouri. In her spare time Teresa enjoyed horses, bingo, gardening, Sunday night family and friends supper and New England Patriot’s football (Go Tom Brady!!!). The door to her home was always open. She was a second mother, grandmother (Meema) sister and friend to many.
Teresa passed away on December 14, 2006 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri at the age of 44 years, 8 months and 14 days.
She is survived by her beloved husband Larry Morrison and her four daughters, Samantha, Christy, Stephanie and Carla Morrison; her mother Sandra Garrett; step-father Jim Garrett of Omaha, Nebraska; grandfather Charles Herron of Hamburg, Iowa; three sisters Lisa Hutchins of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Diane Gardner of Riverton, Iowa, Sharlene Valente of Houston, Texas; and one brother Casey Moyer of Riverton, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her father Jack Dwayne Moyer.
Services were held Monday, December 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at United Trinity Church in Hamburg, Iowa; burial immediately followed at High Creek Cemetery, Watson, Missouri. www.hht.org hhtinfo@hht.org | |
