Johnathan Wesley Windhorst the son of Wesley Lee Windhorst and Kathy Sue (Grundel) Elder, was born on December 16, 1981, in Fairfax, Missouri. Johnathan attended Fairfax, Missouri, schools, and earned his GED in May of 2010.
Johnathan farmed with his grandfather, Willie Windhorst, and had been employed as a cook in area restaurants. He passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at the age of 29 years.
Johnathan was preceded in death by his sister, Ashley Phillippe, and grandparents, Willie and Mildred Windhorst. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kathy and Jim Elder, Tarkio; sister, April Speers and her husband, Jason, Wichita, Kansas; brother, James L. Elder, Jr., Tarkio; grandparents, Betty and Ken Wallace, Tarkio, and Russell and Judy Grundel, Craig, Missouri; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
