Donel Eugene “Toby” Mount, the son of Will and Minnie Bell Mount was born March 15, 1927 in Verdon, Nebraska. He attended schools in Hamburg, Iowa area.

Toby was married to Donnie May Henry in 1946 in Hamburg.During World War II, Toby enlisted in the United States Navy serving his country proudly in the Pacific Theater.

Toby was a heavy equipment operator in Southern California. He retired and returned to the Midwest in 1990. He passed away at Community Hospital Fairfax, Fairfax Missouri on Sunday September 11, 2011 at the age of 84.

Toby was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Dennis “Corky” Mount in 2000.

Survivors include: his companion and special friend, Marilyn Brown of Rock Port, Missouri; Daughter, Sharon Park and husband, Steve of Saint Anthony, Idaho; sons, Eric Mount and wife Cindy, Yorba Linda, California,Kevin Mount and wife Tammy,also of Yorba Linda;daughter-in-law, Karen Mount, Brea, California; four granddaughters Aileen, Rosie,Kelly and Caitlin Mount; step grandchildren Karl, Timothy, and Sandi Nakamura, and David, Michael, Joseph, Daniel and Aaron Park; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 16, 2011 at Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
There is no visitation.
