Billy J. Wilson
Billy Jack Wilson, the son of Jack and Margaret Wilson, was born on September 20, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended school in Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 1984. He also attended college at Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri.
On August 18, 2002, Billy was united in marriage to Pam Knoedler in Carter Lake, Nebraska. To this union, one child, Gavin Michael Wilson, was born in 2005. They made their home in Westboro, Missouri, Omaha, Nebraska, Aurora, Nebraska, and Rock Port, Missouri, before settling in Huntley, Nebraska, where they lived to the present time.
Billy was baptized at the Rock Port Baptist Church on July 24, 1983. He followed in his father’s footsteps, who was an assistant scoutmaster, by becoming a Boy Scout and was a member of the Mic-o-Say Tribe. Billy passed away March 17, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska, at the age of 45.
Besides his father, Billy was preceded in death by grandparents, Ida and Joe Harris; brother, Jack Steven Wilson; aunt, Eilene Lewis; and father-in-law, Rodney Knoedler. Survivors include his wife, Pam Wilson; son, Gavin, both of Huntley, Nebraska; mother, Margaret Wilson, Rock Port; mother-in-law, Barbara Knoedler, Huntley; sister-in-law, Barbara Prichard, Morristown, Tennessee; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
