Steve Eugene Wilson, the son of Jack and Helen (Clark) Wilson, was born March 13, 1947, in Shenandoah, Iowa. He attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1965 and attended two years at Tarkio College. In May of 1966, Steve entered the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Vietnam era.
On October 31, 1971, Steve was united in marriage to Glenna Lee Haer at the First Lutheran Church in Rock Port, Missouri. They made their home in Rock Port and became the parents of two daughters, Sara and Mindy.
Steve was employed as a machine operator at Eaton Corporation for over 21 years. He was a member of the Military Order of The Purple Heart and of the American Legion Post #1000 of Jefferson City, Missouri.
Steve passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015, at his home in Monett, Missouri, at the age of 67.
Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death by brother, Jack L. Wilson. Survivors include wife, Glenna, Monett; daughters, Sara Druery and husband Jim Druery, Waterloo, Iowa, and Mindy Wilson, Monett; granddaughters, Katherine, Ashley, Jewell and Rose; sister, Donna Upp, Overland Park, Kansas.
