Alyce Faye Townsend, the daughter of Walter Ray and Sylvia Mae (Fuller) Townsend was born August 19, 1943, in Fairfax, Missouri. Alyce graduated from Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, in 1961.

Alyce made her home in Rock Port and various other towns in the Midwest. She was currently residing in Gill, Colorado. She was a single parent to her three daughters, Alycia, Lynn and Tina. Alyce passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016, surrounded by her family, in Greeley, Colorado, at the age of 73.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her half-brothers; Aaron, Carl, Edward, James and Robert Ranner; her half-sisters, Helen (Ranner) Elliott, Nellie (Ranner) Gebhart and Delores Dee(Ranner) Duncan. Alyce is survived by her three daughters, Alycia (Townsend) Maurer, Olathe, Kansas, Lynn (McKibben) Riggins, Gill, Colorado, and Tina (McKibben) Danley and husband, Bill, Gill; four grandchildren, Kris McConkie, Long Beach, California, Jelyna (Price) Rives, St. Joseph, Missouri, Austin Danley, Gill, and Erin Maurer, Olathe, KS; her half-sister, Mary (Fuller) Barnheisel-Griffith, Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 15, 2016, Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
Inurnment: High Creek Cemetery, Watson, Missouri
There is no visitation.
