Linda A. Armstrong
Linda Ann (Webster) Armstrong, the daughter of Lawrence and Lucille (Bray) Webster, was born on September 30, 1945, in Hamburg, Iowa. She attended school in Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 1963.
In March of 1964, she was united in marriage to Leo D. Armstrong. They made their home in St. Louis, Missouri, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Independence, Missouri, Watson, Missouri and in Rock Port, where they lived to the present time. While living in Independence, they became the parents of a daughter, Julie. Linda attended cosmetology school and was soon employed as a hairdresser. After moving to Rock Port Linda worked at Patty’s Palace and was currently employed at Do-It-Best Hardware. Some of her favorite times were spent with Julie’s family and quilting. Linda passed away Friday, October 21, 2016, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 71.
Linda was a member of the Watson Baptist Church, Watson, Missouri. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Leo, of Rock Port; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Kevin Shallenberger, Gretna, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Addison, Macie and Camden; brother, John Webster and his wife, Judy, Rock Port; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
