| Betty J. Van Leuven 1933 – 2018 Rocky Mount, Missouri 
 Betty Jean Van Leuven, the daughter of Charles Edward and Euphemia Mae (Nuckolls) Stevens, was born June 25, 1933, in Fairfax, Missouri. She attended Tarkio High School. 
 In 1949, Betty was united in marriage to Elvis Boyd Devine. They became the parents of one daughter, Sharley Ann. They later divorced. In 1958, Betty was united in marriage to James Hubert McIntosh and they became the parents of four sons, Kalvin, Paul, Kelly and Sid. Jim passed away in 1989. In 1999, Betty was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Van Leuven. Bob passed away in 2010. In June 2018, Betty moved to Rocky Mount, Missouri, to live with her son, Kalvin. 
 Earlier in life, she was employed at several grocery stores as a cashier and worked at the battery factory in Red Oak, Iowa. For many years, Betty was a stay-at-home mom, raising and taking care of her children until they were grown and Jim retired. Betty also worked as a babysitter, sometimes taking care of up to 28 children at one time. Later, Betty earned a Dietician certificate and managed the Food Service at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Rock Port, Missouri, for many years. 
 Many years ago, Betty was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tarkio and served in the nursery. Betty passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at her home in Rocky Mount, at the age of 85. 
 In addition to her parents and two husbands, Betty was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters and stepson, Terry McIntosh. Survivors include daughter, Sharley Ann (Fred) Squier, Tarkio; sons, Kalvin (Stephanie) McIntosh, Rocky Mount, Paul (Shannon) McIntosh, Bellevue, Nebraska, Kelly (Cynthia) McIntosh, Trenton, Missouri, and Sid (Ashley) McIntosh, Shenandoah, Iowa; twelve grandchildren, Erik, Kenneth, Tyler, Tristan, Michelle, Nikole, Brannon, Evan, Rachel, Sarah, Sawyer and Gage; eight great-grandchildren, Noah, Ezra, Maddox, Kevin, Jeremiah, Kiera, Scarlett and Gizelle; sister, Dorothy Settell; and brother, Harry Stevens, both of Hereford, Texas. 
 Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Monday, September 17, 2018, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio. Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio Open visitation begins 12:00 P.M.
