Darrell G. Combs 1949-2018 Tarkio, Missouri
Darrell Granvel Combs, the son of Archie G. and Pearl (Peregrine) Combs, was born August 28, 1949, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He graduated from high school in Colorado.
On July 23, 1993, Darrell was united in marriage to Marsha Kae Walters at the Baptist Church in Shenandoah, Iowa. They made their home in Shenandoah for a short time before moving to Maryville, Missouri, and later making their home in Tarkio, Missouri. Marsha passed away March 17, 2008.
Darrell worked at a sheltered workshop and as a fast food worker at Hardee’s. He was an avid animal lover. Darrell passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, at his home in Tarkio, at the age of 69.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Survivors include cousins in Coin, Iowa; and extended family in the St. Joseph, Westboro, Missouri, Tarkio, and Shenandoah areas.
