Kenneth “Kenny” Peters was born in Auburn, Nebraska, on November 25, 1944, to Gwen (Eden) and Jack Peters. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1963. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 20-plus years, receiving many commendations during his service. In 1985, he retired from the Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman Chief. Kenny is survived by his wife, Edith (Bailey); daughters, Jennifer Fisher (Jeffery) and Kristie (Peters) Wemhoff; grandchildren, Caitlin Sooley (Richard), Colton Lotter, and Sydney Fisher; sister, Joanie Michel (Maynard), and brother, John (Ivajean); and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was buried with full military honors.
