Diane K. Tonigan

Diane K. (Moody) Tonigan, 48, Albuquerque, formerly of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at her home in Albuquerque.

Diane was born November 15, 1960 in Omaha, NE to Don and Johnita Moody. She was a graduate of Omaha South High School of 1979, the University of New Mexico, BA, MA, LED. She was a passionate and an amazing wife, mother, sister, friend, educator, and Big Red Husker fan. Her compassion, happiness and laughter were contagious. All of those whose lives were touched by her will miss her deeply.

Survivors: daughter, Jackie Tonigan, Houston, Texas; son, Drew Tonigan, Albuquerque; parents, Don and Johnita Moody, Rock Port, Missouri; sisters, Dawn (Doug) Lynch and Debbie (Mike) Contreras, all of Papillion, Nebraska and Dona Braniff, Omaha, Nebraska; father-in-law, Richard F. Tonigan; brother-in-law, J. Scott (Radka) Tonigan, all of Albuquerque; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.

Graveside Service and Interment:
10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2009, Linden Cemetery, Rock Port.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service: Tuesday, September 15, 4:00 p.m., Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114th Street, Omaha.
