JACLYN S. LONG
Jaclyn Sue Long, the daughter of Kenneth Junior and Mary Francis (Jackson) Long, was born November 5, 1961 in Fairfax, Missouri. She attended the Rock Port schools.
During her lifetime, Jackie was employed as a CNA in nursing homes in the various towns where she lived. She was truly a “Jackie of all tradesâ€. Jackie has had to face many hardships in her life, but she has battled on against all adversity, always continuing to display great courage and a truly fierce independent nature. Jackie was often heard to say, “As long as I have my babies, all will be ok.” She was a great mom and a wonderful Nana to her 11 grandchildren. Jackie passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, at the age of 50.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Mary Francis Long, sister, Kelly Long, grandmother, Edith Jackson and stepmother, Betty Long.
Survivors include her four children, Cara Davis and her husband, Johnny, Rock Port, Matthew Carder, Nebraska City, Nebraska, Troy Hale and his wife, Mary, Rock Port, and Okema Hale and Damien Pritt, of Rock Port; grandchildren, Wyatt, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Naoma, Kelsie, Johnny, Raina, Aden, Jaxson, Harlee and Stevie; father, Kenneth Junior Long, Rock Port; brother, Jeff Long and his wife, Linda, Chandler, Oklahoma; nephews, Josh and Jason Long, niece, Julie Long; and numerous aunts and uncles.
