Bobby W. Goad

Bobby W. Goad, the son of Bobby Frank and Marie (Cockrell) Goad was born January 29, 1960, in Smithville, Missouri. He attended North Platte High School in Dearborn, Missouri, graduating in 1979.

On August 15, 1996, Bobby was united in marriage to Betty A. Viets in Jackson County, Missouri. They made their home in Watson, Missouri, their entire married life.

Bobby was employed in the construction business. He was a very skilled laborer who worked with concrete, drywall, welding and as a heavy equipment operator. Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife, Betty. Bobby passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014, at his home in Watson at the age of 54.

Bobby is survived by wife, Betty, Watson; son, Daniel Goad Gere, Indiana; parents, Bobby Frank and Marie Goad, Edgerton, Missouri; brother, Wesley Goad, Edgerton; sister, Janet Art, Stillwell, Kansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Casual Family Visitation and Memorial Service:
10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 23, 2014, Watson Community Building.
Private Family Inurnment at a later date.
