Neloami Lucy “Kelley” Rail

Neloami Lucy “Kelley” Rail, the daughter of Raymond Washington and Jennie Nelle (Duncan) Kelley, was born January 20, 1918, in Mound City, Missouri. “Kelley,” as she was affectionately known, graduated from Mound City High School in 1936.

On May 30, 1941, she was united in marriage to Laurence “Larry” Raymond Rail. They became the parents of Lance, Clint, Nancy, Kathy and Judy. In later years, they made their home in Tarkio, Missouri. Kelley was employed with Tarkio Hy-Vee in the meat department retiring in 1988. Kelley passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Tarkio, at the age of 98 years.

Kelley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; one son, Lance Rail; two great-grandsons; and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Clinton Rail and wife, Sharon, Lincoln, Nebraska, Nancy Daugherty and husband, Kelly, Tarkio, Kathy Herron and husband, Gene, Rock Port, Missouri, and Judy DeBuhr and husband, Mark, Auburn, Nebraska; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Martha (Alfred) Bolander, Wichita, Kansas.

Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Monday, February 29, 2016, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
Interment: Forest City Union Cemetery, Forest City, Missouri.
Memorials: Forest City Union Cemetery or Tarkio Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
Visitation: Open visitation will begin 10:00 A.M., Sunday, at Davis Funeral Home. There is no family visitation.
