Robert F. “Rob” Resler, the son of Robert Herman and Eula Glenn (Jones) Resler, was born July 31, 1951, in Fairfax, Missouri. He attended Fairfax High School, graduating in 1970.

Rob worked for years as a farm hand for H.A. Sly and formerly at the Walnut Shop in Fairfax. He was a member of the Fairfax Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. Rob passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016, at his home in Fairfax at the age of 65.

Besides his parents, Rob was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Thomas Resler. Local survivors include cousins, David Howell and wife, Kathy, and Gary Howell and wife, Vivian, all of Maryville, Missouri. Aunts, uncles and numerous cousins out-of-state.

Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 10, 2016, Fairfax Presbyterian Church.
Interment: English Grove Cemetery, Fairfax.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 A.M., Wednesday, Fairfax Presbyterian Church, prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Fairfax Presbyterian Church or English Grove Cemetery.
