Linda L. Hall
Linda Lee Hall, the daughter of Loren James and Edwyna Maxine (Graham) Brown, was born February 17, 1949, in Fairfax, Missouri. She attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1967. Linda then attended Tarkio College, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She later received her Master’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri, as a reading specialist.
In August of 1977, Linda was united in marriage to Rodney Hall and they became the parents of one daughter, Channing. They later divorced. Linda was a loving and devoted mother. She also was always there for her parents and family when they needed her. Family was of most importance and she cherished the time spent with her two grandchildren, Bo and Harper.
Linda taught school at Tarkio Elementary School and then was a reading specialist at other area schools, including Maryville and Leavenworth, Kansas. She was currently making her home in Four Seasons, Missouri, and was working as a reading specialist at Camdenton, Missouri, schools. Linda passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016, in Columbia, Missouri, at the age of 67.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by brother, Larry Brown. Survivors include daughter, Channing Lee Pike and husband, Dillion, Adrian, Missouri; two granddaughters, Isabella Bo Pike and Josephine Harper Pike; one brother, Lyle Brown and wife, Phyllis, Rock Port, Missouri; niece, Stephanie Lininger; nephews, Jason, Trent and Matt Brown; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
