Barbara Erin Bryant, the daughter of Orville Kenneth and Beryl Grace (Denny) McIntosh, was born March 29, 1947, in Hugo, Oklahoma. She attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1966.

 

On March 9, 1969, Barbara was united in marriage to Delvin L. Bryant in Rock Port, Missouri. They became the parents of three children, Terry, Kenny, and Patricia. Delvin passed away in January of 2022.

 

Barbara was employed by Sugar Hill Plantation, Branson, Missouri. She then returned to Rock Port and was employed as a cook by The Hen House and Trail’s End. Later, she was employed by Dusty Trail, Rock Port, as a prep cook/buffet manager, until retiring.

 

Barbara enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and listening to country music. Barbara passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 78.

 

Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by grandson, Brandon Michaelis; siblings, Beverly McIntosh, Melva Poston, and Eddie McIntosh. Survivors include children, Terry (Michelle) McIntosh, Sidney, Iowa, Kenny (Theresa) Bryant, Sidney, Iowa, and Patricia (Jamie) Bryant, Nebraska City, Nebraska; grandchildren, Ceera, Cheyenne, Steven, William, Alex, Allison, and Gary; great grandchildren, Hudson, Beaux, Jason, Maximus, and Athena; siblings, Allen McIntosh, Bourbon, Missouri, Charles McIntosh, Harker Heights, Texas, and Edna Chastain, Hamburg, Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, especially Darren Boyce.

 

All memorial services are pending.

Memorials may be directed to her oldest son, Terry McIntosh.
