Billy Edwin Riley, the son of William Lewis and Georgia Ann (Brown) Riley, was born March 23, 1939, in Tarkio, Missouri. He attended Tarkio High School. On August 8, 1956, Bill entered the United States Navy, serving his country. He received his honorable discharge on April 22, 1960.

On November 1, 1972, Bill was united in marriage to Patsey Ann Graham in Rock Port, Missouri. They made their home in Tarkio their entire married life. Patsey passed away in June of 2025.

Bill was employed by Lester Redi-Mix, where he drove the concrete mixer truck for Paul. Bill then was employed by Atchison County, Missouri, where he drove a road grader, later retiring.

Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, and woodworking. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. Bill passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 86.

Besides his parents and wife, Patsey Riley, Bill was preceded in death by grandchildren, Seth and Malekai; siblings, Karen, Duane, and Larry. Survivors include children, Vicki, Randy (Jeanette), Robert E. (Sonia), Marsha (Travis), Mike, Robert A. (Jessica), and Dena (Rodney); 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; siblings, Rick (Debbie), Kerry, and Pam (Jim); numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service and Interment: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Center Grove Cemetery, Westboro.

There is no scheduled visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
