To Kathy, James, Jeff & Paul: Your father was the first person I had contact with at Tarkio College. I attended summer band camp and then that fall started my freshman year at TC. Dr. Crapson was my teacher from 1978-82. I also helped out with the camps while I was in school. It is inspiring to think back at how selfless he was with his time and entergy for TC. He will not be forgotten - Machelle

Dr. Crapson's dedication to the arts is greatly appreciated. As a Missouri Arts Council staff member for thirty years, it was a pleasure working with him and talking long distance. I am glad he was able to bring the arts to Tarkio.

There are fewer and fewer people who may be considered Tarkio at heart. And now we have lost another. We at the Resource Center and at the Atchison County Nutrition Center will miss you. Good-bye, Dr. Crapson.

I will always remember Dr. Crapson as his student. Along with my high school band, an alumni of the college, he was instrumental in my attending Tarkio College. I was one of his counselors for the summer music camps that he directed every summer and of which I attended also while in high school. Dr. Crapson will always be a part of my memories at Tarkio College. Condolences to Kathy, Jim and Jeff.
