On behalf of our parents, Claire and John Henry, we would like to express our sadness in the passing of Gilbert. They adored him not only as a friend, but a great builder and designer. Mom and Gilbert spent many hours planning, designing and creating their fabulous home. It was a delight to see Gilbert in action, his creative genius was a gift. He truly was a master of his craft!

Gosh, what can I say? First of all I miss having breakfast with him at the Diner. Always had something new that he had learned from reading or talking about his hikes in Az. Gilbert was a good example of not letting time take over. He kept active and was always fun to be around. Kurt sends his condolences also. We talked last night about how much he enjoyed and respected Gilbert. He is at peace. I regret that we will not be in town this weekend for the visitation. Dale and Diana.

As Mark mentioned, Dad and Gilbert were "project" buddies and I have so many great memories of their time together. The Burkes and Coxes were great friends and I am honored to be a part of that friendship. Rita joins me in extending our sympathies and a hug to Ann, Brad and Mike and all the Burke family.

Brad, I am sorry about your Dad, I only had one encounter with him. It was years ago chicken Wed @ the Diner there was only one empty seat:at my table and though I had never met him he sat down and began visiting like a long time friend. May he rest in peace.

Gilbert was a dear friend of Mom and Dad's and the rest of the Cox family. Whenever Dad had a project Gilbert was the first person he would call. He was a good man and good friend. My sympathies to the families.
