Where can one go with what there is to say about Barb. I was fortunate enough to have worked with her for so many years that were often challenging and at the most, some of the best times of my working career. She was nothing short of hysterical, loving, caring and an overall riot! Thinking back to the times we laughed until the tears ran down our face over something she had done or an event with she and Duane brings laughter to me still today. A woman with a deep faith, the ability to look always at the bright side, and celebrated 30 days prior to every birthday, the birthday itself, and usually 30 days after she said. So in essence, Barb celebrated EVERY DAY!! We will miss her sweet smile and keep smiling as she is with Duane, MaryLou and BW again and no doubt playing cards. Prayers to each of you..

Mike, Ronnie, Danny, Larry and Becky, I have so many special memories of your family, your mom was a big part of those memories. She always made us laugh and found the positive in any situation. Our daughters were in a piano contest at Maryville several years ago, the girls got to meet your mother there. We all went out to eat, they loved meeting her. She kept them entertained throughout the meal. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very special person.

To Barb's 4 Hits & A Miss, Barb was the sweetest, funniest, cutest & most musically talented 1st cousin I had. Her smile and laugh were infectious all her life. Even when I went with Mike to visit her in Mound City, she joked around and was loved by all who resided there. God Bless her memory🙏

I am so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. I took piano lessons from her for several years, and when I think of her, I think of lemon drops, popcorn cakes, cookies, stickers and the terror of piano recitals. Even now, I still play piano, and make popcorn cakes around Halloween. She was so fun to be with and always so positive -- she will be sorely missed.

Larry,I am sorry about your mom. She has a couple recitals at pleasant View and the residents really enjoyed them. She also went fishing with a bunch of us and I don't remember laughing so hard in years. She was a lovely lady and really lived life to the fullest. I know your family will miss her terribly.

I have such good memories of Barb when she and Duane were neighbors south of us at Fairfax. She was a great Christian neighbor to my mother. Sorry for your loss but I know she is singing in Heaven. God bless- Holly Barnes
