Betty Jane (Campbell) Grebe, the daughter of Otho Faye and Gladys Clara (Gigous) Campbell, was born November 30, 1936 in Tarkio, Missouri. She attended school and graduated from Tarkio High School in 1954. While in high school, she met her future husband, Jimmie D. Grebe and they were united in marriage on August 12, 1956 in Tarkio.

Betty Jane, beloved wife, mother and grandma, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009, surrounded by her family, at Saxton Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

Besides her parents, Betty Jane is preceded in death by two brothers, Junior and Bob; and two sisters, Evelyn and Lois.

Betty is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jim, of their home in St. Joseph, Missouri; children, Susan (Danny) Burton, St. Joseph, Tim (Janey) Grebe , St. Joseph and Janie (Ken) Baker Gower, Missouri; grandchildren, Brandi Viestenz, Angie (Chris) Kowalewycz , Ashlee Grebe, J.D. Baker and Kadi Baker; great grandchildren, Kenzie Grooms and Christopher Kowalewycz; sister, Phyllis Ann Green, Sun City, Arizona; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services: 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm Wednesday prior to the service at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
Memorials: Hands of Hope Hospice, St. Joseph.
