Betty Jane (Childers) Sybert, of Tarkio, Missouri passed away, Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, Missouri, at the age of 78.

 

Betty was born on July 23, 1944 to William and Mary (Wilcoxon) Childers in Nebraska City, Nebraska. She was the youngest of six children. Betty had one daughter, Theresa Louise Sammons.

 

Betty met Perry Sybert in 1987 at a dance in Rock Port. They dated for two years and were married on December 31, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Betty gained two more children, Mary Grace and Richard Sybert.

 

Betty was employed in the Atchison County area as a Home Health Care Aid, taking care of many people during their Golden Years.

 

Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by siblings, Marge (Samas) Ruby, Bud Samas, Robert Samas, Kay (Childers) Hoover, and 2 infant sisters; great granddaughter, Kyrah Shea Womochil. Survivors include husband, Perry Sybert, Tarkio; sister, Louise Childers, Valley Center, California; children, Theresa Womochil, Nebraska City, Mary Hayes, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Richard Sybert, Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Melissa Womochil, Trisha Womochil, Bill Thorne, Roger Hayes, Allison Hayes, Jack Hayes and Justin Hayes; great grandchildren, Breckin Womochil, Bryce Thorne, Brooke Thorne, Bailey Thorne, Kade Thorne, and Kinslee Thorne; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 15, 2023, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.

Open visitation begins 10:00 A.M., Sunday, May 14, 2023, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 A.M., Monday, prior to the service.

Inurnment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.

Memorials: American Cancer Society.
