Beverly J. Hannah
1943-2017
Tarkio, Missouri

 

Beverly Jean Hannah, the daughter of Herbert Owen and Vera Marie (O’Dell) Stephens, was born December 24, 1943, in Fairfax, Missouri. She attended Westboro High School, Westboro, Missouri, graduating in 1961.

 

On March 15, 1964, Beverly was united in marriage to James E. Hannah in Tarkio, Missouri. They became the parents of one son, Samuel James, and made their home in Tarkio. They were later divorced.

 

Beverly was employed by Baer and Associates for over 20 years, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed reading books, planting flowers and knitting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her two grandchildren, Jillian and Teahen. Beverly passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at her home in Tarkio at the age of 73.

 

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Stephens. Survivors include son, Samuel Hannah and wife, Afton; two grandchildren, Jillian and Teahen Hannah; significant other of 21 years, Gary McIntyre; mother, Vera Stephens, all of Tarkio; sister, Darla Bletscher and husband, Roger, Troy, Kansas; nephew, Doug Bletscher and wife, Kathie; niece, Kristi Minor and husband, Kent; and great nephews.

 

Memorial Service: 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, February 8, 2017, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
A register book will be available at 9:00 A.M, Tuesday, February 7, at Davis Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M.
