Billie Annis Nichols, the son of Perry Edward and Anna Elizabeth (Brown) Nichols, Sr., was born June 6, 1921, in Salem, Missouri. In his youth, he attended country schools in the Salem area.

On September 26, 1943, Billie was united in marriage to Nellie Geraldine Roberts, in Atchison, Kansas, and they became the parents of two children, Ron and Judy. They made their home in Tarkio, Missouri, all their married life, and recently celebrated 67 years of marriage.

Billie was a farmer and truck driver. He hauled grain to dairy farmers in southern Missouri. He was a member of Full Gospel Community Church in Tarkio. Billie passed away at this home in Tarkio, on Sunday, December 19, 2010, at the age of 89.

Besides his parents, Billie was preceded in death by his brother, Perry Edward Nichols, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Nichols, of the home; son, Reverend Ron C. Nichols, Sr., and his wife, Sandy, St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter, Judy Clark, Tarkio; six Grandchildren; and fourteen Great-Grandchildren.

Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Davis Funeral Home.
