I worked with Bob at Tarkio Academy. He was a pleasant co-worker, and certainly had a way with the troubled boys that were there. I could talk with him on just about any subject. His wry sense of humor would at times get me through the day! He will be missed. RIP.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Bob at TA. He was iconic there. Will always remember him signing the cafeteria sheet Stone Cold. So sorry for your loss. He will truly be missed

So sorry to hear this. My son, Tim and I were both Tarkio College alums with him. Tim always enjoyed talking with him and would tell me about their conversations. Prayers to all of the family.

I worked with Bob at Northwest Missouri Learning Center for a while. He also served at Tarkio where I work as a para. All the kids seem to really love him. He was a very good person. My deepest condolences. Susie

We're so very sorry for the loss of Bob. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. He was a nice man and nice to work with at Fairfax R-3 School. He went above and beyond to welcome students to school.

My favorite substitute teacher. Always made you feel like you could be yourself and achieve your goals. He'd lend me books because he knew I liked to read and always took time to check up and see if I liked them afterwards. I'm sad I never got to talk to him again after I graduated. I still have some books he gave me. I'll treasure them a little bit more now. Thoughts and prayers for everyone that's missing him now. <3

I went to college with Bob and was a high school Biology student of Tim's. My freshman year, I tested out of the underclassmen English courses and was put into a much higher class. Bob was in this class and it was the first time I met him. I told him my predicament and he just told me "to do my best and just be me". I passed that class with his help. He made that semester so much fun in that English class. He would be the last one to arrive in the morning and always had a huge cup of coffee and barely be awake. But he knew his literature! WOW I'm going to miss his Grandiloquent Word of the Day on FB and his comical comments about life. Bob, you were one in a million! RIP

So sorry for your loss. I never knew Bob but I work with a man who was very good friends with him. I have heard great stories of younger years the two shared. I also have heard great devoted friend stories of just the past week. We all need friends like these two men. Rest in peace.
