Bobby Jackson Kincaid, the son of Lycurgus Scott and Edith Mayhen (Jackson) Kincaid, was born July 29, 1947, in Paris, Kentucky. He attended Orleans High School, Orleans, Indiana, graduating in 1965. Bobby then attended Evansville University, Evansville, Indiana, where he was a catcher on their college team Purple Aces.

 

On August 7, 1971, Bobby was united in marriage to Connie Flippin in Omaha, Nebraska. They became the parents of two children, Kevin and Kellie.

 

Bobby moved to Omaha, where he had a passion for working on small foreign cars with his brother, Jim. He was later employed as a Dispatcher Manager for Wickes Lumber. Bobby then managed the Home Center for Millard Lumber, Omaha, Christensen Lumber, Fremont, Nebraska, and later Fullerton Lumber, Irvington. He then became Superintendent of Home Enterprises, Omaha, where he retired in the early 2000’s.

 

Bobby was a member of the Linden Christian Church, Rock Port, Missouri. He also taught Sunday School in Indiana. Bobby passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at his home in Watson, Missouri, at the age of 77.

 

Besides his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by brother, Jim Kincaid. Survivors include wife, Connie Kincaid, Omaha; children, Kevin Scott Kincaid, Bennington, Nebraska, and Kellie (Scott) Newell, Malvern, Iowa; grandchildren, Scotlyn Marie Kincaid, LaVista, Nebraska, and Krue and Daxton Newell, Malvern; sister, Annetta (Mike) Speaks, Lexington, Kentucky and sister-in-law, Joan Kincaid, Omaha.

 

Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 4, 2025, Linden Christian Church, 17191 165th St.,  Rock Port, Missouri, 64482.

There is no scheduled visitation.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Shriners Children Hospital.

Arrangements: Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
