Bobby V. Clement
December 20, 1939 - May 12, 2007
Bobby Virgil Clement, the son of Albert Virgil and Vera Mae (Emery) Clement was born December 20, 1939 in Westboro, Missouri. Bob attended Westboro High School, graduating in 1958.
Bob was a member of the Iowa National Guard in Shenandoah, Iowa from 1955 to 1959. Bob had worked for the Tucker Funeral Home in Westboro, and the Davis Funeral Home in Tarkio, Missouri. He also worked in the Ambulance business and for the Westboro Volunteer Fire Department. In 1972 he moved to Rock Port. Bob was then employed as a contract groundman for Great Plains Contractors, Butler, Missouri. He worked in the area changing poles and other contract groundwork for Atchison Holt Electric, Rock Port, until an accident forced his retirement. For 31 years Bob has been cared for by his loving friend Lorraine Moore. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Bob passed away May 12, 2007 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, Missouri at the age of 67 years.
Beside his parents Bob is preceded in death by a daughter, Lea Deann Clement. Survivors include Lorraine of their home, Rock Port; Lorraine’s family; one brother, Christopher Eugene Clement, California; one aunt Enid Anderson, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Minter Funeral Chapel in Rock Port, Missouri.
Burial: Center Grove Cemetery, Westboro, Missouri
