Bonnie Lee Hughes, the daughter of James Cecil and Ruth Maxine (Linville) Hughes, was born February 3, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended Rock Port, Missouri schools.

Bonnie was employed briefly by White Rock Motel, Rock Port. Otherwise, she was a homemaker for most of her life.

Bonnie was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Tarkio, Missouri. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and was an avid fan. Bonnie passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 71.

Besides her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by husband, Tom Hughes; siblings, Janet Thomas, Jimmie Hughes, and Steve (Hope) Hughes. Survivors include children, Kevin Christian, Rock Port, Jamie (Becky) Thomas, Persia, Iowa, and Lisa (Mike) Blackenter, Marshall, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Chris (Chris) Sticken, Rock Port; grandchildren, Hayley (Jordan) Sipes, Jordan Christian, Ashley (Brett) Gayler, Landon, Lillian, and Lincoln Thomas; great grandchildren, Asher and Adalyn Sipes; best friend, Kathie Reynolds, Rock Port; siblings, Rick (Brenda) Hughes, Gary (Joyce) Hughes, and Midge (Steve) Hunter, all of Rock Port; sister-in-law, Marilyn Hughes, Rock Port, brother-in-law, Joe Stephens; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There are no scheduled memorial services.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
