Brenda Jene Bywater, the daughter of Charles Edward and Louie Dale (Smith) Rice, was born February 10, 1964, in Coolidge, Arizona, and attended school in Coolidge.

 

Brenda became mother to Joshua Dale Noland in 1979. In 1983, Brenda was united in marriage to Jon Bywater and became the parents of two children, Pamela and Jeremy. They later divorced. Brenda later met her companion, David Langley, and became the parents of two sons, Nathan and Joseph. David passed away in 2006.

 

Brenda was employed as a waitress in numerous restaurants including, Ryan’s and Sunrise Café, Indiana. She retired in 2018. Brenda enjoyed making candles and soaps, attending yard sales, and doing crafts with her grandchildren. She attended Church of the First Born, Brazil, Indiana. Brenda passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, surrounded by her family, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, Missouri at the age of 61.

 

Besides her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by siblings, Gregory Rice, Patricia Rice-Toothman, and Charlotte Robinson; brother-in-law, Greg Lowden. Survivors include children, Pamela (Derek) Morriss, Rock Port; Jeremy Bywater, Fremont, Nebraska, Nathan (Leslie) Langley, and Joseph Langley, both of Rock Port; grandchildren, Jayden (James), Lexi, Darika, Brezie, Bella, Raylea, Ryhia, Paige, Hutson, Zola, Jeremy, Jr., and Hannah; siblings, Ricky (Mary) Rice, Lynn (Cindy) Rice, Debby Lowden, Wanda (Ray) Garcia, Barbara (John) Gethers, and Alice Garrett; bonus daughter, Ashley Dalton; numerous nieces and nephews; precious fur baby, Spot.

 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Memorials: Minter Funeral Chapel, for final expenses.

Cremation Arrangements: Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
