Carolyn J. Rosenbohm, the daughter of Stuart G. and Virginia Ruth Jane (Watkins) Schlup, was born November 8, 1943, in Winston, Missouri. Carolyn attended Winston area schools.

 

On August 20, 1960, Carolyn was united in marriage to Allen H. Rosenbohm in Winston, and became parents of four children, Cathleen, Tamara, Allen, and Theresa. They made their home in the Langdon and Rock Port, Missouri area. Allen passed away July 2, 2021.

 

Carolyn was employed by Earl May Nursery, where she worked as a laborer. She then was employed by Sale Barn Café where she was a manager and also served as a waitress and cook. Due to health concerns, Carolyn retired in the late 1990’s.

 

Carolyn enjoyed gardening, watching football, and playing games of chance on her Ipad. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Carolyn passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 78.

 

Besides her parents and husband, Allen H. Rosenbohm, Carolyn was preceded in death by son, Allen Rosenbohm; numerous siblings. Survivors include children, Cathleen (Dennis) Roach, Tamara (Ronnie) Stoner, and Theresa Rosenbohm, all of Rock Port; grandchildren, Amanda, Clint, Cory, Lacy, Brooke, Blake, Jon, and Tabi; siblings, Sandy Sumner, Rock Port, and Mike Schlup, Hiawatha, Kansas; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

 

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.

Open visitation begins 9:00 A.M., Monday, December 27, Minter Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Tuesday, prior to the service.

Interment: Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port.

Memorials: Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Arrangements: Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
