Charles E. Estes, the son of Carl Everett and Ellen (Smith) Estes, was born June 6, 1951, in Bethel, Missouri. He attended Westboro High School, Westboro, Missouri, and Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating from Tarkio in 1969.

Charles was employed as a bulldozer operator for Mather Construction, Levings Construction and others in the area, for many years. He was a member of the Westboro United Methodist Church. Charles passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, Tarkio, Missouri, at the age of 62.

Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by brothers, Lee, Boyd and Max Turner and Stanley Estes. Survivors include sister, JoEllen Moore, Evansville, Indiana; brother, Steve Estes, Columbia, Missouri; nephews, Mark Turner, Wichita, Kansas, Boyd Turner Jr., San Diego, California, and Justin Moore, St. Joseph, Missouri; nieces, Terry Hulett, Salisbury, Missouri, Myra Evans, Tarkio, Missouri, and Kristy Dawn Petree, Sedalia, Missouri; and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 P.M., Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
There are no Memorial Services scheduled.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Walden Grove Cemetery, Westboro.
