I only knew John through radio but enjoyed our conversations on the same. I checked into the Weather Net when ever I could while in our summer home in Iowa. John is missed by the net and its members. 73 old friend W0XBG

John was a "Man for all Seasons" kind of guy. I enjoyed working with, and watching John at work at the Public Service Commission. John was exceptionally bright and always knew what he was talking about. I was pleased to see him retire and get to spend so much time at home with Virginia, and his beloved farm.
