Corey Lee Stevens, the son of Walter and Shirley (Harmon) Stevens, was born January 2, 1972, in Fairfax, Missouri. He attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1990.

In 2012, Corey became a proud father to JayLee. He was employed by Mather and Sons, Westboro, Missouri, working on terraces, tiling, and bulldozing. Later, Corey was employed at OPPD as a Security Guard. Due to health concerns, he was forced to retire.

Corey was a member of the First Christian Church, Rock Port, Missouri. He loved to go fishing and hunting. Most of all, Corey enjoyed spending time with his daughter, JayLee and family. Corey passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at his home in Watson, Missouri, at the age of 52.

Corey was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert (Roberta) Stevens and Lorena Martin, maternal grandparents, George (Gladys) Harmon; uncles, Stanley Harmon Sr. and Michael Harmon, nephew, Garrett D. Parsons. Survivors include daughter, JayLee Stevens, Kansas City, Missouri; parents, Walt (Shirley) Stevens, Watson; sister, Sandy Lansdown (Jimmy Dockins), Rock Port; aunts and uncles, Betty Harmon, Nancy (Carl) Martin, Phyllis (Dennis) Martin, and Gelvin (Marlene) Stevens; numerous cousins.

Celebration of Life: 5:00-7:00 P.M., Friday, July 12, 2024, Farmers State Bank, Tarkio.

There is no scheduled visitation.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Memorials: Corey Stevens Memorial Fund.

Cremation Arrangements: Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
