So very startled and saddened to see Darlene has passed away. My thoughts are with Lonnie and Donnie during this time and always. Darlene was a very sweet and strong person and it makes me so sad that she's gone. Please hang in there guys and sending big hugs.

In my heart, I still considered you family. I remember after Garrett passed you came up and gave me a hug. I told you that "You were the strongest woman I know. It's rough losing one, I don't know how you do it." You said, "I'm not strong, I just get up everyday because you have to." I hear you saying that still every once in awhile and that is what I do. I'm glad you're with your children that were taken way to soon but I know the ones you left behind are hurting. So when I see them I will give them a hug and tell them they have to get up everyday because they have to. Give the gang (including Gene) a hug for me and hold Garrett a little bit longer and tell him it's from me and someday I'll see you again. Love ya
