No words can make this sudden tragedy any easier to accept and understand at this time, but know that he was a great man and I truly enjoyed working with him at the hospital. I will remember him for his compassion, kindness and the smile that he always had on him. Every time that I would see him he would be giving out small candies to the staff...his way of being friendly and supportive...he is surely missed around here...I will be praying for all of you especially his children. God is with you.

We are so sorry to hear of Darrin's passing. When we all worked together at Pella he was so much fun to be around. He will certainly be missed. God Bless you all with peace and comfort at this sad time.

I know Darrin had been hurting these past few months, we had all listened to him with great concern and encouraged him to move on with his life. This was so unexpected, we thought life was improving for him. All our thoughts go out to his boys, who will miss him so very much and who needed to have him around the most.
