David Lee Roberts, the son of Jessie D. and Patricia Jo (Snow) Roberts, was born July 2, 1956, in Shenandoah, Iowa. David passed away December 31, 2012, at the age of 56. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Deanna Lynn Roberts; his children, Christopher Dean Jackson and Crystal Gray of Shenandoah, Iowa, Rachel Elizabeth Loftus of Orlando, Florida, Megan Lee Moore and husband, Earamos, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Jon Dawson Roberts and wife, Chasidy, of Hamburg, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; siblings Jessie D. Roberts and wife Shirley and Tony Roberts and wife Pam, all of Shenandoah, Mike Dean Roberts and wife Lori, of Essex, Iowa, and Donna Fae Roberts. Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by grandparents, Virgil & Arvella Roberts and a grandson Justice Allen Williams.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Old Armory in Shenandoah, Iowa. A private family inurnment will be held on May 5th, 2013, at the Linden Cemetery in Rock Port, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to the David Roberts Memorial Fund.
