Deborah “Debb” Sue Frushon, the daughter of Franklin John and Donna Elyse (Purtle) Frushon, was born July 29, 1961, in Hamburg, Iowa. She attended West Nodaway High School, Burlington Junction, Missouri, graduating in 1979. Debb then attended EQ School of Hair Design, Omaha, Nebraska, earning her Master’s Degree in 1996.

In the early 1980’s, Debb was united in marriage to Louie Peterson. They became the parents of two children, Roger and Christina and made their home in Nebraska City, Nebraska. They later divorced.

Debb was employed by Nebraska City Manor as a Beautician for numerous years. She then moved to Omaha, Nebraska and was employed by American Security Services in 1999 as a Command Center Manager. She retired in 2009 and moved to Rock Port, Missouri, where she lived until the present time.

Debb attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Shenandoah, Iowa. She enjoyed crocheting and sketching and drawing. She was an avid animal lover. Debb loved spending time with her friends and family. Debb passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 64.

Besides her parents, Debb was preceded in death by brother, David Frushon. Survivors include children, Jaime (Steven Messing) Graham, Pawnee City, Nebraska, Roger (Megan) Peterson, and Christina (Eric) Bourg, both of Nebraska City; grandchildren, Jovani, Brylin, Jonathan, Paislee, Austin, Kylee, Liberty, Benjamin, Samuel, and Leslie; great granddaughter, Layla; brother, Doug (Missy) Fletcher, Cameron, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews.

Private Family Memorial Graveside Service and Inurnment, Riverton Cemetery, Riverton, Iowa.

There is no scheduled visitation.
