Debra Lynn (Schlup) Morgan, the daughter of Stewart Grant and Virginia Ruth (Young) Schlup was born on September 30, 1956 in Gallatin, Missouri. Debra graduated from Rock Port High School in 1974 and attended Kansas City, Kansas Community College earning her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. She later received her Certified Medical Technician certificate. Debra was employed at LaVerna Heights Nursing Home as a nurse’s assistant/med tech Savannah, Missouri.

 

In 1984 Debra was united in marriage to Marion D. Morgan. They were later divorced. Debra passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri at the age of 53 years.

 

Besides her parents, Debra was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Larry Schlup, sister, Ellen Mae Rosenbohm, nephew, Allen H. Rosenbohm, Jr. and her former husband Marion Morgan. Debra is survived by two sons, Joshua Morgan, St. Joseph, Christopher Morgan, aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; one daughter, Kathayrn Morgan, Bolckow, Missouri; one granddaughter, Lydia Mae Morgan, St. Joseph; one grandson, Gabriel Joseph Morgan, Panama City Beach, Florida; sisters, Judith Anne Leppke and husband, Dave, Humboldt, Kansas, Carolyn Joyce Rosenbohm and husband, Allen, Rock Port, Sandra Lee Sumner, Tennessee; brothers, Michael Schlup and wife, Pamela, Washington, Richard Dwayne Schlup, Shenandoah, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.
