Delvin L. Bryant, the son of Albert A. and Esther Mae (Runyan) Lynch, was born September 28, 1941 in Lonestar, Missouri. He attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri.

 

On March 9, 1969, Delvin was united in marriage to Barbara McIntosh in Rock Port. They became the parents of three children, Terry, Kenny, and Patricia.

 

Delvin was a farm hand and was employed by Max Thomas, Jochim Farms, and Ottmann Farms, all in Rock Port.

 

Delvin enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and cutting wood. He cut and sold 100’s of cords. He also had his own table at Trails End, Rock Port where he could be found daily socializing with local farmers. Delvin passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 80.

 

Besides his parents, Delvin was preceded in death by numerous siblings. Survivors include children, Terry (Michelle) McIntosh, Sidney, Iowa, Kenny (Theresa) Bryant, Sidney, and Patricia (Jamie) Bryant, Nebraska City, Nebraska; grandchildren, Brandon, Ceera, Cheyenne, Steven, William, Alex, Allison, and Gary; great grandchildren, Hudson, Beaux, Jason, Maximus, and Athena.

 

Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 8, 2022, Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday, prior to the service, Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date, Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port.
