Deva M. Marrs

Deva M. Marrs, the daughter of Curtis and Ruby (Jeffries) Burton, was born August 7, 1930, in Bethany, Missouri.  She attended Bethany High School, graduating in 1949.

In 1949, Deva was united in marriage to Erman Webb.  They became the parents of four sons, Richard, Lyle, Lynn and Loren.  They later divorced.  On October 11, 1983, Deva was united in marriage to Bob Marrs.  Bob passed away April 8, 1999.

Deva was employed as a waitress in local restaurants and operated the Tarkio School cafeteria, in Tarkio, Missouri, for many years. She also worked in the cafeteria and snack bar at Tarkio College.

Deva was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tarkio.  Deva passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, Tarkio, at the age of 88.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bob, Deva was preceded in death by infant son, Richard Webb, and son, Loren Webb.  Survivors include sons, Lyle Webb, Tarkio, and Lynn Webb and wife, Jeannie, Shenandoah, Iowa; grandchildren, Frank, Michelle, Jason, Candice, Jenny and Travis; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Burton, Kansas City, Missouri, and Kenny Burton, San Diego, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service:  1:30 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2019, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.

Interment:  Home Cemetery, Tarkio.

Open visitation begins 9:00 A.M., Saturday, prior to the service.
