Sorry to here of Mrs Thacker's passing.she was my Teacher at Lindbergh School and Morris worked with my Dad at Light and Power. Praying for all.

Lloyd Weathermon: My Mother did teach at a country school back then but I never knew the name of the school. I am sure it was her and she definitely had bright red hair. She will be missed.

I'm wondering if she is the same Dona Thacker who taught a rural school in Atchison County Missouri in the very early 50's. I believe she taught at Lone Star School which was just east of the Morning Star School where I went to country school? I remember her as being not much older than her students and our school was envious of her being so young and pretty and if I remember correctly she had red hair when we would have school functions with other country schools.
