It always hurts to lose someone so special. The times she allowed you to try to learn to play the piano, to enjoy reading, and to work with our family history. Her memory brings a smile. Hugs to Leonard from Glenna Lee and family.

I was one of Miss Carter's students in Craig. She was a wonderful lady, and I have thought of her fondly and often through the years.

Elizabeth was a prolific writer for the 173rd Field Artillery Group newsletter. She attended all the reunions of the army group and was popular in the women's area of fun-lovers. Mrs. Schnegelberger was one of my favorite teachers at Craig. I always tried to stop by to visit her at Tiffany when I was there visiting my sister. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Elizabeth meant so much to me as I explored the Carter family. I valued each letter and visit. I will miss her very much.
