Erica Dawn Moore, the daughter of David Arthur and Brenda Lea (Carlson) Merriett, was born March 25, 1993, in Fairfax, Missouri. She attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri.

In 2013, Erica was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Cody Gladman. Together, they became the parents of two children, Andrew Lynn and Scarlett Grace. They later divorced. On March 16, 2024, Erica was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jeromey Moore. She became stepmom to Dallas, Austin, and Abilene. They made their home in Rock Port, Missouri, until the present time.

Erica passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her home in Rock Port, at the age of 33.

Besides her father, David Merriett, Erica was preceded in death by grandparents, Roberta (Phil) Clark, and David F. Merriett. Survivors include husband, Jeromey Moore; children, Andrew and Scarlett, Dallas, Austin, and Abilene; grandchildren, Drecker, Hattie, and Taylor; sister, Sarah Wheeler; mother, Brenda Jones; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
