Eula Glenn (Jones) Resler, the daughter of William Thomas and Harriet Pansy (Fraser) Jones, was born in Boonville, Mississippi on August 29, 1920. She attended school in Booneville, graduating in 1938. Eula furthered her education by earning a two year teaching degree in Mississippi at a teacher’s college. She taught school for several years in the Boonville area.

On July 11, 1945, Eula was united in marriage to Robert Herman Resler in Boonville. After Eula and her family moved to the area, she was employed at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Missouri for 15 years.

Eula was a former member of the Presbyterian Church, Morning Circle, Night Owls, and the Chatterspin Club, all of Fairfax. Eula passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Community Hospital-Fairfax at the age of 89 years.

Besides her parents, Eula is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, who passed away in 1971; two sons, Thomas Herman Resler who passed away in 1978 and James Edgar Resler who passed away in 2005; and one brother, James O. Jones. Survivors include her son, Robert Fraser Resler, Fairfax; one nephew, Delmas Howell and his wife, Bonnie, Rock Port, Missouri; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: 10:30 am, Thursday, February 25, 2010, Presbyterian Church, Fairfax.
Interment: English Grove Cemetery, Fairfax.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port, Missouri.
