I got to know Mick through Farm Bureau after he took over for Blaine Cook. We worked together quite a bit when I was Andrew County Farm Bureau president and we did an office renovation. Mick was a great guy to work with, couldn't have been any better. I remember talking at length with him about life in general. I know he was very proud of his kids and grandchildren. Rest in peace.

Rest in peace sweet man. You were a Godsend to me at a time when life was very hard, you worked like an Angel here on earth in the background helping others. I thank you for all that you have done and will miss you, till we meet again. Blessings to your family during this time.

We are sorry to hear of Mick’s passing. Mick was a year ahead of me in high school. When we were younger, we even rode the same bus to school. I saw Mick at the alumni banquet a couple of years ago and we had a good conversation. Mick was always a real nice guy. Richard Whitford.

Mick was a gentle giant and sad that he has been called home at his young age. I will hold on to our many meetings at Ma & Pa Kettle’s in Cameron discussing Farm Bureau business along with personal lives. He never took things too seriously, but always poured his heart into his work. I’ll never forget his infectious smile and laugh, especially during our late night card games during our annual retreat. He was loved by all and will be missed by so many. Our prayers go out to his children and extended family.

To the family I am so sorry for your lost. I met Mick in 2003 when we moved to RP from California. His two youngest children and our two grandchildren became friends and we also became friends with Mick. We always attended sporting events with Mick and I was his assistant (lol) at filming games and producing game videos. What a nice person Mick was and always the best of friends. I will miss Mick and will pray for the family in sorrow. Love to all, Bob and Berdie Jackson Las Vegas, NV

I met Mick years ago at one of our Farm Bureau meetings and we always talked. I won a trip to Mexico in 2017 and we sat and visited several times. He wanted me to go deep sea fishing with him but my wife was so timid and didn't want me to leave her by herself so I had to refuse. He even said he would pay for my way. (lol) Mick was a great guy and I hated I didn't go on that fishing trip with him. Prayers and thoughts for the family and close friends.
