Gary W. Easley
September 25, 1936 - January 27, 2021
Gary W. Easley, the son of James Hadley and Lorena Virginia (Ragland) Easley, was born September 25, 1936 in Farmington, Kansas. Gary graduated from Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri in 1953.
On March 23, 1954, Gary entered the United States Air Force and served his country for three years and eight months. He received his honorable discharge on November 22, 1957.
On September 19, 1956, Gary was united in marriage to Emma J. Stanton at her home in Rock Port. They made their home in Lincoln, Nebraska. They later moved to Watson, Missouri where Gary farmed. Later he worked construction, operating heavy equipment. For 16 years he owned and operated Gary W. Easley trucking, then was employed by the Atchison County Highway Department, retiring in 2000. Gary and Emma also owned and operated the White Rock Motel in Rock Port.
Gary was a member of the First Christian Church, Rock Port and the Ralph Greer American Legion Post #49. Gary passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Tiffany Heights Care Center, Mound City, Missouri at the age of 84.
Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by daughter Exa Lewis, brothers-in-law, Tony Gaines and Jim Hollingsworth. Survivors include wife Emma Easley, Rock Port; sons, Zane (Debra) Easley, Fortuna, California, Sean Easley, St Joseph, Missouri and Berri (Rhonda) Easley, Beatrice, Nebraska; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Lynn Gaines, Rock Port, and Anne (George) Barnett, Tarkio, Missouri, one brother, Chris (Karen) Easley, Fairfax, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family memorial service 2:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021, Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port, Missouri.
Private family Inurnment Linden Cemetery, Rock Port.
There is no scheduled family visitation.
A register book and funeral folders will be available beginning 9:00 A.M., Friday, January 29, 2021 at Minter Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may directed to the First Christian Church, Rock Port.
Military rites are under the auspices of Ralph Greer American Legion Post #49, Rock Port.
