Geraldine Nichols, the daughter of Ulysses Grant and Emma Lucy Ellen (Brockus) Roberts, was born September 3, 1925 in Tarkio, Missouri.  She attended rural Tarkio schools.

On September 26, 1944, Geraldine was united in marriage to Billie A. Nichols in Atchison, Kansas and they became the parents of two children, Ronald and Judy. Billie passed away in 2008.

Geraldine was a private care nurse and dedicated caregiver.  She loved her family unconditionally and was grateful for every opportunity she had to spend with them.  She was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship.  Geraldine passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Mosaic Hospital, St. Joseph, Missouri at the age of 93 years.

Besides her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by husband Billie, brothers, C.B. Roberts and U.G. Roberts; sisters, Genevieve Millsap and Claudine Crane; son-in-law, Kim Clark.  Survivors include, son Ronald (Sandra) Nichols, St. Joseph, daughter, Judy Clark, Tarkio; grandchildren, Ron Nichols, Tarkio, Rhonda (Mike) Herrick, Westboro, Missouri, Dr. Sara (Kyle) Gardner, Leawood, Kansas, Bill (Sarah) Nichols, Osborn, Missouri and Rebecca (Josh) Quimby, West Plains, Missouri; 15 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; sister, Dr. Shauna Roberts (Dr. Gerald Early), Easton, Missouri

Funeral Service:

11:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2019, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the funeral.

Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
