Glenda Marie Proctor, the daughter of Elmo W. and Genevieve E. (Dinsmore) Kimball, was born on March 6, 1943, in Sidney, Iowa. She graduated from Sidney High School.

Glenda was united in marriage to Meredith Keith Proctor in Rock Port, Missouri in 1964 and they made their home in Rock Port and Watson, Missouri communities all of their married life. Glenda was employed as a cook for numerous restaurants in the Rock Port area, including the Top Kick, Dairy Sweet, Trail Boss and the Downtowner. Glenda passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 67 years.

Besides her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ralph Gessert. She is survived by her husband, Meredith Keith Proctor, Watson; brother, Monty Kimball; sisters, Janelle Nenneman, Ellen Waggoner, Mickie Gessert and Debra Strong; and sisters-in-law, Patty Proctor and Sharon Nelson.

Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment:
11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Greenhill Cemetery, Rock Port.
Memorials: Glenda Marie Proctor Memorial Fund.
